Why Vehicle Tracking Matters
What tracking is for, and the limits on what a host can see or do.

Vehicle tracking is part of how Nova Rides protects listed cars. It is used for security and recovery with the right process. It is not a map you watch while a guest drives.
- Hosts do not see a guest's live location or trip telemetry.
- Do not install your own tracker to follow a guest, and do not ask the guest to share a live location with you.
- Do not remove, disable, or interfere with tracking equipment Nova Rides manages.
- Report suspected tampering, theft, or a car that has not come back.
- Recovery is coordinated by Nova Rides. It depends on the circumstances and is not guaranteed.
Operating area is not a host-drawn fence
On a standard booking the agreed area is the city on the listing. If you allow interstate road trips, travel can be within Nigeria and mileage on that booking is unlimited. You do not draw a geofence in the host dashboard. Device geofence setup with the tracking provider is an internal Nova Rides process, and it is not a self-serve host control.
