This check is about whether the car should leave at all. The photo checklist records condition. This list is the decision underneath it.
- Brakes, tyres, lights, and steering feel fit for the road.
- No safety warning light you have not disclosed and resolved.
- Enough fuel or charge for a fair handover, recorded in the app.
- Seatbelts and glass intact.
- You are handing it to the approved driver, after payment has been received.
- You are not asking the guest to ignore a fault 'just for this trip'.
If the car is unsafe, do not mark it ready. Tell the guest and Nova Rides. A guest is not required to start a trip when there is a genuine safety or roadworthiness concern.
