From a guest's request to payout, in the order Nova Rides actually runs a trip.

A trip is a sequence. Skipping a step, especially payment or the ready check, leaves you without the record Nova Rides uses if something goes wrong.

  1. 1

    Request

The guest chooses dates that are free. Instant listings create a confirmed booking record. Approval listings wait for you to accept or decline.

  2. 2

    Payment

The guest pays on Nova Rides within the 60-minute payment window. Unpaid bookings expire and the dates are released. Handover waits until payment is received.

  3. 3

    Ready

You confirm condition, photograph the required angles, and record the odometer and fuel or battery. Then you mark the vehicle ready.

  4. 4

    Start

The guest completes identity, the walkthrough, and their photos. They cannot start until you have marked the car ready.

  5. 5

    Return

The guest completes the return process first. You then check condition, odometer, fuel or battery, keys, and accessories before the trip is closed.

  6. 6

    Settlement

A clean trip pays after the 72-hour hold. If you file an issue or a reimbursement, payout waits until Nova Rides resolves it.
