The platform default is 322 km per day. A listing can set a different allowance. The included total on a standard trip is that daily figure times the number of days, recorded on the booking when it is created.
- If the listing allows interstate road trips, the booking is unlimited mileage. Excess mileage charges do not apply to that trip.
- On a standard booking, excess is 2% of the daily rate for every 10 km over the included allowance.
- The rate is fixed from the daily price at booking. It is not renegotiated at return.
- File a mileage reimbursement within 72 hours after the trip ends, with the odometer readings from pickup and return.
- The charge is taken through the deposit process. Do not calculate a cash top-up in the car park.
