Managing Vehicle Expenses
Costs that remain with the owner, separate from a guest's trip payment.

Hosting does not move the cost of owning the car onto the guest, except where the published trip schedule says so. Budget as the owner.
- Routine servicing, tyres, brakes, and repairs that are not new trip damage.
- Insurance you keep so the vehicle may be hired, including a premium you pay for Motor Max when you choose it.
- Tracker equipment you must not remove, where Nova Rides has fitted or arranged it.
- Cleaning you do before pickup. A guest cleaning charge applies only in the cases the schedule describes, such as a return that needs cleaning or shows smoking.
- Your own finance or loan payments. Nova Rides does not offer financing for hosts.
Fuel or battery used during the trip should come back to the handover level. A shortfall can be charged from the deposit on the published bands. It is not a reason to collect cash when the guest returns.
