Setting Competitive Vehicle Prices
How to think about a daily rate without invented market averages.

A competitive price is a daily rate a guest will accept for the car you described, in the city where you hand it over. Nova Rides does not publish an official average rate for Lagos, Abuja, or any other city, so this guide will not invent one.
- Price the vehicle you listed: year, condition, and what the photos show.
- Include your real costs in your own decision. Servicing and tyres are yours. They are not a surcharge at pickup.
- Remember the split. You receive 80% of the rental subtotal on a standard account, not the guest's whole payment.
- Use availability honestly. Blocking days is better than cancelling later.
- Change the listing price for future trips. Do not offer a different cash price to someone who messages you.
If a trip does not come in, that is information about that listing. It is not a failed guarantee. Nova Rides does not promise a number of days booked.
