Preparing Your Vehicle for Its First Booking

A practical pass over the car, the papers, and the app before the first paid pickup.

Person with an inspection checklist

The first booking is where the listing becomes a handover. Do the same checks you will repeat later. The first time is not a rehearsal you can skip.

  • Match the car to the listing photos, including plate and colour.
  • Walk the body and interior. Note damage that is already there so it is not treated as new.
  • Confirm tyres, lights, brakes, and that no warning light is on.
  • Decide the fuel or battery level you will record. The guest is expected to return the car to that handover condition.
  • Have the keys, spare if you are providing one, and any accessory you listed, such as a charging cable.
  • Have your phone ready for the in-app photos. Dark or tiny images are rejected.

Meet the approved guest, not a friend who arrived instead. Identity is part of their start checklist. Your job is to release the car only to the approved driver.
