How the Nova Rides Revenue Split Works

The standard 80/20 split, and the cases where an account is different.

The standard split is 80% to the host and 20% to Nova Rides, calculated on the rental subtotal. If a trip's rental subtotal is ₦100,000, the standard host share of that subtotal is ₦80,000. That example is arithmetic, not a typical trip.

A different host rate applies only when Nova Rides has set one on the account. Do not assume a promotion you have not been given. The payout that is sent uses the rate on the booking, not a number from a conversation.

  • Discounts reduce the taxable trip amount. They are not a private bargain between you and the guest.
  • The platform share is not a fee you collect and forward. It never arrives in your share of the subtotal.
  • Approved deposit withholds and reimbursements are added in the same settlement as the rental share. They are not a second split of the daily rate.
